Travel Itinerary

Day 1 - Fly from Kathmandu (TIA) to Paro Airport(2195m/7200ft) then Drive to Thimpu

Fly from Kathmandu International Airport to Paro with Druk Air, Bhutan's National Airline. Our representative will welcome you in the Paro airport then drive to Thimphu. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2 - Thimphu(2320m/7612ft) Sightseeing

After Breakfast you will take to the Sightseeing in Thimphu Valley, The National Library, Housing and extensive collection of priceless Buddhist manuscripts, The institute for Zorig Chusum and the later you will visit Textile and Folk Heritage Museum, a fascinating testimony of the Bhutanese Material culture and living traditions. Overnight at Hotel in Thimphu.

Day 3 - Drive from Thimphu to Paro (98 km, approx 3.1/2 hours drive

After Breakfast, Drive up to Dochu-la pass to take in the view and admire the chorten, mani wall and prayer flags which decorate the highest point on the road. You will see the view of Masagang(7158m), Tsendagang (6,960m), Terigang (7,060m) and some other. Later drive to Paro en route visiting Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of the country. Overnight at Paro.

Day 4 - Paro (Taktsang Monastery Day Hike

After breakfast drive towards north and take a pleasant hike about 2 hour Taktsang Monsatery (Tiger’s Nest) then visit Drukgyel Dzong, a ruined fortress where Bhutanese warriors fought Tibetan invaders centuries ago. You will visit Dungtse, Lhakhanh, Ta Dzong. The extensive collection includes antique thangkha paintings, textiles, weapons and trail to visit Rinpung Dzong. Overnight at Pro.

Day 5 - Final Departure

Fly from Paro to Kathmandu or alternatively join the next program
