Annapurna is one of the world's most technical mountains; for that reason, it has a lousy fatality to summit ratio. Climbing Annapurna is a severe adventure and one of the most difficult 8000m peaks in the world. But there is hope that a new route was used this year and will be the best and safest route to climb moving forward. The South Face of Annapurna is one of the largest and steepest faces in the world. The looks are fantastic in size and difficulty. The South Face is 3000 feet higher than the Southwest face of Mt. Everest. The South Face of Annapurna is relatively free of the terrible avalanche hazards that plague the standard routes on the North Face of the mountain. Despite the incredible difficulty, the South Face is a logical route to the summit of Mt. Annapurna.

Mount Annapurna expedition is an extreme, high-altitude adventure activity. If you have not climbed other 7,000-m or even 8,000-m easier peaks, it is better to wait until you have that experience and are fully prepared. Mount Annapurna is one of the deadliest mountain peaks in the Himalayas, and carries severe objective hazards.
Before planning a climb of Mount Annapurna, ask yourself a few honest questions: Am I physically fit enough? Am I technically capable of handling the terrain and conditions Iβll encounter? Am I mentally and emotionally prepared for a prolonged high-altitude expedition?
Climbers may choose the Mount Everest expedition for fame that comes with standing on the highest point on Earth. In contrast, an expedition to Mount Annapurna is a journey of self-discovery and something profoundly personal. Climbing Annapurna is not about commercial success, but about true mountaineering, and a climb that connects you with history - the first 8,000-meter peak climbed in the history.
Climbing Mount Annapurna requires tremendously high endurance along with strong mental and physical strength as the peak carries significant objective danger.
In practical terms, Mount Annapurna demands expert ice and rock climbing ability, experience climbing 40-50Β° slopes at high altitude (60Β° in some short section), exposed ridges, and excellent decision-making in life-threatening situations, supported by strong emotional resilience. Therefore, extensive prior experience on technical peaks such as Manaslu, and Ama Dablam or other comparable mountains is expected.
First and the foremost safety measure in the high-altitude expedition is highly experienced and well trained Sherpa guide we put for your expedition. They can monitor conditions properly and have an excellent decision-making capacity in extreme situations. Our expedition program includes proper acclimatization so the risk will be lesser naturally. We back up emergency equipment such as supplemental oxygen, first-aid kits, communication devices properly. Your health from Base camp to the higher camps will be monitored through pulse oximeters, and symptom tracking to detect altitude-related illnesses. And, we have proper rescue-evacuation plan.
