This eight-day trek takes you through diverse ethnic settlements, terraced farmlands, and beautiful mountain vistas.
During the Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek, the highest elevation reached is French Pass at 5,360 m (17,585 ft). The highest overnight stop is in Hidden Valley at approximately 5,050 m (16,568 ft), though campsite locations may vary by about ±50 meters depending on terrain and conditions.
Not really. The risk of altitude sickness increases with elevation, especially above 3,000 meters. However, this trek is generally low risk, as the highest point is just 3,180 meters and you reach this height for a short period.
